Monthly dues
Pay your share, and how the committee and the family both confirm it.
Every month: the committee charges, the family pays, both sides confirm.
The committee creates the month's dues
- Create this month's dues On the building page, tap Create this month's dues. Every flat is charged according to your settings (here 7 flats × $50). Doing it twice in the same month does nothing more, so it is safe. With automatic dues turned on, this happens by itself on the 1st.
- What is still owed Still owed by flats now shows $350. It goes down as payments are confirmed.
The family pays
- Dues appear in What's due For the family, the building's dues appear in What's due like any other bill, with a reminder 3 days before. They follow the building: if the committee changes the amount, your bill changes too.
- A bill the building manages Open it to see the details. The note explains that your building sets this bill: you can rename it or change its reminders, but the amount and dates come from the building. It ends by itself when you move out.
- Tell the committee you paid After paying the treasurer (cash, Whish, OMT or bank transfer), open the building and tap I paid. (Tapping Mark paid on the bill in What's due brings you here too, already filled in.)
- Say how you paid Check the flat and the amount, choose the currency (dollars or lira) and how you paid, and add a short note if useful. Tap Save.
- Waiting for the committee Your payment is saved as Waiting. The committee gets an alert to confirm they received it. Nothing counts in the building's fund until they do.
The committee confirms
- Please confirm The president or treasurer sees the payment under Please confirm on the building page. Tap it.
- Yes, received — or not If the money arrived, tap (1) Yes, received. If something is wrong (no money, wrong amount), tap (2) This is not right and say why: the family is told and can talk to you.
- Confirmed The payment is now Confirmed, the family is notified, and it counts in the fund. Neither side can quietly change it later: both agreed.
