Plan an expense

Announce it ahead Open Planned expenses and tap Plan an expense. Say what it is for, the category, and how it is shared: the same for every flat or by shares. Choose who pays: (1) whoever lives there for running costs, or (2) the owners for major works. Enter the amount and when. Everyone is told.
When it happens When the work is done, tap (1) Record the actual expense to put the real bill in the ledger, then (2) Mark as done. If it will not happen, tap (3) It will not happen: families stop saving for it.

Coming up On the building page, Coming up lists what is planned, with your share. Here the Salame family pays $20 for the water tank; the elevator is paid by owners, so it shows no share for tenants.
Your share, and a pouch for it Open it to see the details and your share. If you use the money planner, a pouch is made for it automatically, so you save a little from each pay before it is due.
