When life changes
Moving house, someone leaving, the home settings, your data and your account.
Moving, someone leaving, your data and your account.
Moving
- We moved Moving house? At the bottom of Home (or on your building's page) tap We moved, choose the flat you left and the date, and tick the bills that stay behind (generator, EDL, water). Your people, papers and payments all come with you.
- Someone moves out When a person leaves to their own home (a child marrying, a relative returning), open their page and tap Moving to another home. Their papers go with them by code; payments already recorded stay here.
- Receive someone's papers Whoever runs the new home enters the code under Share this home → Receive someone's papers.
Your data and your account
- Open Home settings The home's owners open its settings from the gear at the top of Home, or the Home settings button near the bottom.
- The home's settings Here: the home's name, heavy-month threshold, months shown ahead, email reminders, Continue setup, and the Plan: which plan the home is on, who pays for it, and See the plans. If the person who pays leaves, the home keeps its plan and you choose who pays next.
- Download or delete Under Me → Your data and account: Download my data gives a .zip that opens in Excel. Deleting your account says exactly what happens first; the home carries on for the others.
Start the home again
- Reset this home To start again from a clean page, an adult owner taps Reset this home at the bottom of Home settings, reads what stays and what is wiped, types the home's name and taps Ask for the reset. Accounts, the family members they belong to, the plan and your flat stay; everything else is wiped and the setup starts again. It can't be undone.
- Another adult confirms Nothing happens yet. You confirm with a code texted to your phone, and another adult of the home confirms with theirs (a home with one adult: by email and SMS). Everyone taking part sees it on Home and can tap Call it off. After 48 hours it expires, and a home can be reset twice in 12 months.
